No more are pool party events for daytime only, your personal oasis can be lit up at night time too with our state-of-the-art underwater LED lights. Assembled to deliver the finest quality, from withstanding water damage to high pressure, these fixtures readily make their presence permanent and leave a lasting impression. With architects and landscape designers coming up with fresh innovations to design and decorate water bodies, it raises the demand for more creative lighting solutions. Why should then a pool of water only look like it is meant to swim in?
Water has held great importance in our lives not just as a source of subsistence but also with its allure as a cultural aesthetic that continues to awe us and be with us. As times change so do our needs and wants. Fountains erected in memories of history-altering events now need to be viewed at night time as cities become promising night culture hubs and here our underwater fountain light series offers a range of wattage from 5W to 12W. Many such fountains are made lively by introducing schools of fish that can only be viewed with light submerged with them. Ponds constructed for sea life harvesting can also take full advantage of our functional line that is built for tough commercial uses. Water bodies at home or elsewhere are designed to make statements and can be accentuated with underwater LED strip lights that mark the periphery of the shape of water or could highlight an art piece that the designer may have made part of the whole aesthetic by using underwater spotlights. As more and more people wish to make marine life a part of theirs, sophisticated aquariums have made their way into the architecture of private residences. At GLP we are extremely conscious of recommending those underwater lights that provide artistic charm without harming the water creatures’ visibility and well-being. Light designers can choose from a mellow 1W underwater recessed light fixture to a powerful 24W light fixture. Cruise tours and dinners are becoming a thing of the future as more and more vacation spots welcome tourists. Cruising over the sea at night with your loved ones is made extra special with underwater lights that are installed in the decking or walls that heighten the experience by enhancing the overall ambiance of the ride. Our underwater LED lights remain unaffected by vibrations during the crashing of waves or from the water pressure from a swimming pool.
Since the LEDs have to go through some rough conditions, especially underwater, they are enclosed in a special housing made of high-grade aluminum and sealed with a 316 stainless steel trim which are ideal materials for underwater light fictures since they are corrosion resistant. There is no stopping the sun from emitting its UV rays and so to sustain constant exposure for several hours, the top glass on our underwater fixtures utilize UV resistant materials to stop discoloring and deterioration of the glass and final light output. All GLP Underwater Light Fixtures are certified IP68 which means that these are waterproof light fixtures that can withstand being constantly underwater. Advantageously, all of our underwater fixtures require an input of 12 volts to function, meaning they are UL comliant and certified and chances of electrocution are zero. So feel free to take a dip in your pool at night or swim a lap to blow off some steam because our underwater lights have you covered even in the darkest of nights. Moreover, our clients can benefit greatly from our partnerships with Nichia and Cree as we ensure that all of our LED chips are of the latest technology that they have to offer.
Choosing from a variety of light color options and fixture types, our GLP support staff will support you by providing the suitable GLP underwater light fixture for your required application.
